WREN is here, and we are NEVER giving up
Dear WREN Family,
The 2016 election shattered our hopes of breaking that highest glass ceiling as we watched the nation reject a woman president. Now, eight years later, that wound is torn open again as we confront another devastating setback, leaving many of us grieving, reeling, and grappling with a future that feels both unfathomable and frightening.
As the daughter of immigrants, I share in the pain and frustration so many of us feel right now. But I’m writing to you today with both determination and hope. Your belief in WREN and our work matters more than ever. Yes, the challenges we face are daunting, but our purpose has never been clearer. Our dedication has never been more unshakable.
WREN is here and we are never giving up.
I believe deeply in the power of this community, and I know that together, we can build the South Carolina we all deserve — a place where everyone’s rights are protected, equity is the standard, and lasting change is possible.
