Join us for the 3rd Annual SC Survivors Summit hosted by The Hive Community Circle. This year’s focus is “Centering Our Bodies, Centering Our Work.” In the midst of a global crisis, as survivors and professionals in this work, we cannot lose sight of our personal commitments to ourselves, our work, and to those things we hold true and valuable. As a participant, the Summit will guide you through “Pathways of Healing” that will support you as a survivor in gaining knowledge and tools that will enhance the way you show up in body, mind, and spirit. Information on workshops and speakers can be located at https://www.scsurvivorssummit.com/.
Please note that this year’s Summit is virtual and a two day event. On Friday April 16th (12-2pm and 6-7:30pm) we will kick off the Summit at 12pm with an opening keynote presentation from national and internationally known Speaker, Author, Survivor, and Minister Nona Jones. This will be followed by a deep dialogue you don’t want to miss with the largest health and self-care movement for Black women and girls in the country organization, GirlTrek moderated by our very own Founder + ED Ashley Thomas with jewel bush, GirlTrek’s Chief of External Affairs! We’ll return Friday evening at 6pm ready to hear from our sister Kalimah Johnson as she speaks to us on Healing through Reconciliation and Restoration.
We’ll convene on Saturday April 17th (10-4pm) at 10am for a day you do not want to miss. We’ll hear from nationally known speakers such as Dr.K, wellness and financial coaches, and have the opportunity to engage in movement based healing, the arts, and more. Although, we are virtual we made sure the Vendor Village is once again present for you to shop with local and national vendors through our Virtual Vendor Village Expo.
Once you are registered, you will receive information regarding specific details for login and navigation the week of the Summit. Continue to check back on the Summit’s website for event updates and reveals at https://www.scsurvivorssummit.com/.
