To honor the work of WREN advocates, legislative leaders, and the goals that we’ve set for the remainder of the two-year session, join us and special guest Rep. Seth Rose at our Midlands Legislative Celebration at the Local Buzz on Thursday, May 30th, from 6-8pm.
Since the beginning of the 2019-2020 legislative session, community members utilized WREN’s online advocacy tools to connect with lawmakers over 3,300 times in support of policies that uplift women and families across our state.
These actions alongside the out-pour of support that we’ve received during our Advocacy Day and legislative hearings since January have propelled the Lactation Support Act forward and ignite momentum on several priority bills.
While this event is free and open to the public, we ask those who can to donate below so we can continue to keep educational events like these accessible to our community.
Click here to register and let us know you’ll be there.
Light refreshments will be provided and a cash bar will be available.
