What does the abortion ban mean for South Carolina?
by Kelli R. Parker on Sep 1, 2023
Gressette Building room 308, Statehouse
H.3548, a bill which attempts to ban a common method of abortion, was placed on the calendar to be heard by the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on February 15th. The hearing will begin at 10:00 am, or one and one-half hours upon adjournment of the House, whichever is later, in Room 308 of the Gressette Building. The agenda can be seen here.
We will be wearing vote NO stickers so that Senators will know our position. We will be live streaming the hearing on our FB page, for those of you who can’t make it. If you are unable to come please contact committee members and urge them to vote NO.
Politicians, not doctors, are pushing for these restrictions, undermining health care professionals and their ability to provide the individualized care that’s best for each of their patients.
