Info: The Female Health and Wellness Act, H 3747, would exempt feminine hygiene products from sales tax. The removal of the tax on period products would alleviate the additional monthly expense of paying a luxury tax on a necessary medical product.

The Sales, Use and Income Tax Legislative Subcommittee will meet on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, 1.5 hours after adjournment in Room 521 of the Blatt Building. A link to the stream can be found at https://scstatehouse.gov/. The following legislation will be considered:

• H. 3709 – Accommodation Tax
