What does the abortion ban mean for South Carolina?

Columbia Museum of Art
Our city has a legacy of remarkable women. Let’s celebrate their victories, connect through their stories, and empower one another. Because when we believe we can, we do.
Have you ever noticed that very few cities, streets, and statues are named for women? In Columbia, only 4 percent of our 145 landmarks are specifically named for women.
We believe in the power of moving through a city that celebrates women’s achievements. Join WREN, Historic Columbia, and the City of Columbia, us as we introduce the City of Women and reveal the first of many City of Women honorees — strong, courageous, and driven women who have made our city better.
Attendees will enjoy tasty treats from Spotted Salamander, a signature cocktail created by Bourbon’s Kat Hunter, and live entertainment.
This project was supported by a grant from the Knight Foundation Fund at Central Carolina Community Foundation.
