Vanity Jenkins is the founder and principal consultant of ShiftED Consulting, serving as a coach, strategic planner, and expert human design facilitator. She created the organization with the vision of a future where inclusive leadership is not exceptional. Still, she expected that leaders consistently design systems, decisions, and environments that allow all people to thrive.

ShiftED exists to help organizations move beyond aspirational values by building leadership strategies that create equitable, inclusive, and sustainable cultures in practice, not just in principle. Vanity has 20 years of experience advising nonprofits, district leaders, principals, charter networks, and companies on equitable practices and racial literacy. Vanity is bolstered by the hope that the work she does will one day lead to the dismantling of systems of oppression and to a world in which all children and communities thrive. Alongside Rachel Vicente Consulting, Vanity has also co-designed and launched a unique fellowship for Women of Color entitled Authentically Me.
