Where do the candidates stand?
by Ann Warner on Mar 2, 2018
Women are 51% of South Carolina’s population and 55% of registered voters. Given this, shouldn’t we know where South Carolina’s gubernatorial candidates stand on women’s economic and health issues?
Join us on the Equal Pay Day, April 10, 2018, and find out.
WREN is pleased to welcome Phil Noble, James Smith, Catherine Templeton, and Marguerite Willis as confirmed participants in the WREN Summit Gubernatorial Candidate Forum, on the second day of the 2018 WREN Summit.

On day 1 of the WREN Summit, we will hear from experts on closing the wealth gap, creating a safe and inclusive workplace, strengthening women’s leadership, and more. On day 2, we will ensure women’s issues are front and center on each gubernatorial candidate’s mind.
While we are thrilled that the two women running for governor in South Carolina have agreed to speak about these incredibly important issues, we wish we had a larger participation level from the men seeking the state’s highest office.
The forum is free and open to the public. Reserve your spot today.
