Where are you from?

Grew up in NJ, went to college at Univ of Wisconsin, lived in NYC for ten years, and Hawaii for eleven years. Was lucky to work on all of the islands and live on Oahu for 8 years and the Big Island for 3.

What did you do previously before coming to WREN?

I lived in Hawaii for eleven years and worked at nonprofits like The Salvation Army, Planned Parenthood and West Hawaii Community Health Center. I was really fortunate to be able to live in a beautiful place while making a positive impact in the communities I lived and served.

What drove you to get involved in this cause?

I am passionate about advocating for equal rights, social and gender justice, so WREN seemed like a perfect fit.

When you’re not working, how do you like to spend your time?

I really enjoy checking out the beach and coastal areas, trying new restaurants and bars, and traveling and seeing new places and visiting friends and family.

If you could meet one person from any period of time, who would it be?

I’d like to hang out with Frank Sinatra

What is one mantra that you live by?

Be positive, kind, surround yourself with good energy, and enjoy life.

What’s one thing you’re excited about that’s coming up in 2022?

Finally going on some belated trips, traveling and seeing friends!
