First Class of South Carolina Gender Justice Advocacy Fellows Announced

by WREN Staff on Nov 29, 2021

We are so excited to announce the inaugural class of the South Carolina Gender Justice Advocacy Fellowship (GJAF)! Our fellows will complete a 6-month-long program designed to reimagine advocacy to reflect a broader representation of our communities’ perspectives and experiences. Fellows will gain access to tools and skills needed to influence public policy in South Carolina while engaging in the legislative process during an active legislative session.

We are grateful to the selection committee for their assistance in the application process.  The application process consisted of a written application and interviews conducted by the selection committee.  The interviewers consisted of partners and community members who have a commitment to gender justice. Thank you to Ivy Hill, Robert-John Hinojosa, Sunshine Bella Goodman, Kathleen Hayes, and Fernando Soto.

Congratulations Fellows!
