Equal Pay Week is a week-long recognition of Equal Pay Day, which is this Wednesday March 24th.

Tuesday

12 PM Facebook Live: “Equal Pay in South Carolina: Current Law and Opportunities for Improvement.”

 

Wednesday- Equal Pay Day

All DayEqual Pay Day symbolizes how far into the year the average woman must work in order to earn what the average man earns in the previous year regardless of experience or job type due to the wage gap.

6 PM Facebook Live: “Why Pay Equity Legislation Can Not Wait.”

Join Representative Wendy Brawley (SC-70) and Ashley Lidow (WREN) for a discussion on current legislation to close the gender wage gap in SC! This discussion will shed light on current inequities that can be addressed when advocates and legislators work together.
