Be the Voice

by Eme Crawford on Nov 21, 2017

We know better than most the huge number of barriers that people in South Carolina face when they need to access reproductive health services, including contraception and abortion care. We are working hard to push back against new restrictions and push for policies that support women’s health and well-being. In fact, WREN’s Ann Warner just had a letter published in the Post and Courier on this topic.

We need to be a voice not only against attacks on access to the reproductive health services that people need, but also to urge lawmakers to develop forward-thinking policies that will actually help to ensure health and opportunities for South Carolina women and families. Together, we can make a positive difference. –Ann Warner, CEO

But we aren’t just talking about it – we are taking action! WREN just launched an exciting, new digital campaign to help raise awareness and mobilize people to take action.

Be the Voice is aimed at bringing together a strong, collective voice to counter misinformation and strengthen support for access to the reproductive health services that we all need to plan our families, have healthy pregnancies, and become parents when we are ready.

You can ensure health and opportunities for South Carolina woman and families – here are 3 things that you can do TODAY:

  1. Visit the website and learn more about current restrictions already in place in South Carolina.
  2. Sign the petition in support of information and support to get the services we need to manage our health and plan our families.
  3. Follow the campaign on social media to stay updated.  We’re on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

WREN is excited to support the movement for reproductive health, rights and here in South Carolina and to speak out to build a stronger movement throughout the country.  We are working to support people in our communities be a voice for change!  You can be the voice by getting involved with this new campaign!
