Emerge South Carolina hosted their annual Women of the Year awards ceremony virtually this year and our very own CEO, Ann Warner was honored! The next opportunity to celebrate the Women of the Year awards is on Thursday, October 29th.  Emerge will posthumously honor Dr. Emily England Clyburn with the Legend award.  Ann will participate on Thursday’s panel with the Trailblazer of the Year honoree.

“Thank you for this honor! I am so proud to accept this award on behalf of our network. We are a network of women and gender-expansive people who work every day to make South Carolina a more equitable place. We educate and empower everyday advocates. Whether elected or advocating in our communities, our network works tirelessly to advance the health, economic well-being, and rights of all people. Everyone– every party, every person, every advocate can work towards a better South Carolina. I hope you’ll join us in the fight.” -Ann
